Fairhall Cliffs Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2014
represents a flavour profile delivered from its unique origin. After 35 years pioneering Marlborough viticulture, John Marris (father of Brent Marris who makes The Ned Sauvignon Blanc) has grown the fruit for this bright, fresh, exciting Sauvignon Blanc on the steep southern foothills of Wairau Valley. Lively acidity and extraordinary minerality is well balanced by the full ripeness of the fruit. There are plenty of tropical and citrus fruit flavours with notes of nettles. Grown in one of Marlborough’s oldest vineyards on Fairhall Cliffs, it is so steep that hand harvesting is the only method of picking. Enjoy Fairhall Cliffs Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2014 with seafood or on its own.
