Glorioso Gran Reserva 2007
is a round and complex wine with mature tannins of a quality consistent with the old vine Rioja Alavesa fruit used in its production. Spanish Rioja Reds tend to be full-bodied and have high acidity.
Rioja is arguably Spain’s top wine region and is one of only two regions classified under the Denominación de Origen Calificada (DOCa) system. Its two most important red grapes are Tempranillo and Garnacha. Although red wines from Rioja are prized, Spanish wines generally offer great bang for the buck, allowing one to indulge in quality vino without breaking the bank! Glorioso Gran Reserva 2007 is a fine Rioja.
