Pauillac de Lynch Bages 2009
is a refined classic Médoc with elegant mint, cedar and blackcurrants with a fine dry finish. It would be perfect with roast lamb.
This Château produced wine that was classified as one of eighteen Cinquièmes Crus (Fifth Growths) in the Bordeaux Wine Official Classification of 1855. From the 1750s to the present, Château Lynch-Bages produced its gorgeous red blend under the label of the same name as the winery — Lynch-Bages. In 2008, the second label of Lynch-Bages, called “Echo de Lynch Bages,” was introduced. And in 2009, the Château introduced this third label: “Pauillac de Lynch-Bages.”
Produced from younger vines but treated with the same care as the Château’s first- and second-label wines, Pauillac de Lynch Bages 2009 is a beautiful and affordable expression of the Château’s eponymous first-label — and one that can be enjoyed right away.
