Suntory Japenese Hakusha Whisky
is a new entry level single malt from Suntory’s mountain forest distillery, nestled deep in Mt. Kaikomagatake. Suntory Japenese Hakusha Whisky is the fresh and gently smoky single malt whisky with herbal notes that is the revelation of Japanese single malts. Suntory Japenese Hakusha Whisky with a nose of peppermint, melon and cucumber leads to a fresh zesty palate and a subtle smoky finish. Excellent value and a good introduction to Japanese whisky.
Suntory Japenese Whisky has been around since 1923, Suntory has pioneered the Art of Japanese Whisky.
Nose: very fruity and aromatic with plenty of vanilla. Unripe pears and apples, melon and lemons. There’s also a grassy / minty note (slightly new-oakish) as well as something of cucumber. A subtle smokiness in the background. Pine wood.
Mouth: again a bright fruitiness, but with more oak and more herbal notes now. Lots of zesty notes, slightly bitter, especially grapefruit. Again some pine wood and gingery notes, as well as earthy overtones. A little on the young side now.
Finish: medium long, soft smoke, green fruits and wood.
Its crisp and vibrant feel, unique in a single malt whisky, enlivens and liberates your senses.
The creation and innovation unique to Suntory Whisky is revered among whisky lovers worldwide.
