Coopers Cask Single Malt Cask Strength Whiskey
is the first Single Malt Cask Strength Whiskey released by Coopers Off Licence in conjunction with Tipperary Whiskey.
It is distilled directly from Olympus spring barley, grown on Ballindoney farm in County Tipperary, Ireland. This land and these crops have been cared for and harvested by the Ahearn family for generations.
Coopers Cask Single Malt Cask Strength Whiskey is limited to just 83 bottles and each one is individually numbered.
The malted barley was triple-distilled by Tipperary Whiskeys master distiller Stuart Nickerson in copper pot stills at another Irish distillery, giving a young, vibrant spirit that is truly representative of our land and of Tipperary itself. Stuart Nickerson is an internationally acclaimed whiskey expert with more than 40 years’ experience managing some of Scotland’s most famous distilleries, including Highland Park, Glenrothes, Glenfiddich, Balvenie, Kininvie and Girvan Grain. In 2008, Stuart purchased Glenglassaugh Distillery on behalf of overseas investors, refurbished it and brought it back into production after 22 years.
