Teeling 26 Year Old Single Malt Whiskey
is a unique Irish whiskey, doubled distilled in 1987 and matured firstly in Bourbon casks then allowed to marry in White Burgundy wine casks to provide a truly unique Irish whiskey taste experience. This unique marrying process creates a beautiful bouquet of tropical fruit flavours that complement the deep layered malt and wood noted in the long decadent finish. The end result is an Irish whiskey of rare character that is a privilege to behold.This small batch bottling, limited to only 1,000 bottles, is the first ever Irish whiskey to be finished in White Burgundy wine casks.
The palate is full of fresh cut grass, herbs, spices, coconut, wood, tropical fruit, kiwi, strawberry, and pineapple. A unique and rare whiskey from one of the countries best producers.
The Teeling Family have been making whiskey since 1782 in their distillery on Marrowbone Lane in the Liberties, Dublin. The Gold Bottling of the Teeling 26 Year Old Single Malt Whiskey is limited to only 1000 bottles.
