Tipperary Boutique Distillery Gin
is distilled on the family farm at Ballindoney, Grange, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary and was launched on 11the March 2021.
This farmhouse gin is distilled in Brigid (one of the copper pot stills) by Jennifer Nickerson, manager of Tipperary Boutique Distillery.
Gin recipes are prepared by Jennifer Nickerson’s mother in her kitchen on a tiny trial still, and Jennifer carefully scales these up and hand measures each botanical.
Every batch of Tipperary gin is unique, hand crafted with love in the boutique stillhouse.
Along with strong juniper notes, this first gin is very citrus forward, sweet and heady, perfect for heralding spring.
It uses an unusually high volume of botanicals which, combined with a lack of chill filtration, causes a beautiful pearlescent cloud to appear when ice or tonic is added.
The perfect G&T is made with Tipperary Boutique Distillery Gin, a tall glass of ice, premium tonic water, and a curl of orange peel or a slice of grapefruit.
Jennifer Nickerson, Stuart Nickerson and Liam Ahearn founded Tipperary Boutique Distillery Limited in 2014. Having spent the past few years releasing independently bottled single malt Irish whiskeys. With their new distillery now creating spirit from their home-grown barley, the stage is set for even more world class Irish whiskey.
