Tyrconnell Single Malt 10 Sherry Cask Whiskey
has a rich, but smooth texture with flavours of caramel toffee, dried fruits and citrus peel. One of the more full-flavoured whiskeys from this distillery. Tyrconnell Single Malt 10 Sherry Cask was a deserved top prize winner at the 2010 World Whiskey Awards and again in 2012.
Nose: Lots of rich sherry characters. Spicy and leathery aromas with touches of chocolate, creme caramel, dried fruits and exotic spices. There’s also a touch of old/toasty oak.
Palate: Fruity and sweet with lovely old oak flavours. Flavours of caramel toffees, exotic spices, dates, walnuts and raisins. Despite the warm and earthy flavours it remains fresh and fruity keeping within the distillery’s character.
Its’ colour is pale golden bronze.
